Well, it’s the end of the quarter and I just got my final grades back for my IT254 class and I ended the quarter with a B+. I have the whole next week off from school and so far I’ve been spending that time playing WoW which after careful thought I should be using that time to get me ahead a little with Java.

Overall Stats for school (Yay, I made the deans list again!):

Program: Associate of Science in Information Technology
Concentration: Software Systems Engineering
Enrollment Status: Active
GPA: 3.73
Credits Attempted: 38.00
Credits Earned: 65.00

Seems that my hosting company, IX Web Hosting, had some ISP problems this morning causing www.jennyberry.com to be down. I was right in the middle of updating my new DukuWiki in which I’m converting my current MediaWiki over to. It’s going to take some time, but I really like the new engine of DukuWiki so much better the MediaWiki. There are a ton of plugins to go along with DukuWiki too.

Anyway, that’s what I’ve been up to. You won’t see much on my DukuWiki yet but give it time.

I love technology. What I love more then technology is the creative outlet the tools of technology allow me to have. When I take on a project, like my school wiki for instance, I can tweak and custom fit that piece of technology to suit whatever goal or solution I might be seeking at that time. The best aspect of these projects, is actually learning how things work. Once learned, the sky’s the limit and the creative juices keep flowing to the next project or learning experience I have the privilege of working on.

It’s just exciting stuff, and to do it for a job almost feels like cheating in a way. I mean, who’s supposed to love going to work everyday?

When I ponder my dream of working at Google, this is how I see myself there.
