31 days to a better blog
I signed up for the course Michael Dunlop created called 31 days to a better blog. I didn’t have time to do it in real time, but I’m going to follow his steps now and track my progress.
Day #1: Installing Wordpress and start Blogging. Ok, this step is done.
Day #2: Adding your Design and Plug-ins. I’m still working on this step. I have my design almost how I want it with a few bugs that I’m trying to work out. I’m using the WicketPixie theme that Chris Pirillo uses. Wicket and Pixie happen to be his two little dogs that you see every once and a while on his live stream.
Day #3: Making Money Blogging. How do the top earning blogs make their money? I have Google AdSense set up and ready to put in my blog. That however is not working which brings me back to Day #2 in dealing with my design and plug-ins. I’m also in the process of reading this ebook to learn how blogger’s are earning 7 figures a year from affiliate programs.
Day #4: Driving Traffic to your Blog.
Day #5: Making your Blog Sticky.
Day #6: Learn from these 10 expert Bloggers.
Day #7: Link Link Link.
Day #8: Interlink some Old Posts.
Day #9: Promote your Blog with Forums.
Day #10: Set up ‘Alerts’ for your Blog.
Day #11: Come up with 10 Post Ideas.
Day #12: Editorial Calendars.
